Thanks to the generosity of community-minded friends like you, over the last two years the Clays for Kids fundraiser has afforded the Club the opportunity to accomplish a range of critical upgrades.
Hosted by the Jenkins Athletic Club board of directors, this fun, annual event will take place on Friday, March 22, 2019 at the Forest City Gun Club.
We are grateful for your help.
With your help, we can continue to meet the demands of our Club. It has become clear that most, if not all of our athletic offerings are near capacity. With this, we must find new ways to grow our “house” to include all kids and teams who would like a chance to play at the Jenkins Athletic Club.
In addition, we want to continue our focus on growing our programming for girls and improving the facility offerings to meet their needs (renovate locker rooms, bathrooms, etc.). We are so excited to announce that over the last three last years, the number of girls basketball teams have exceeded our expectations. This year, for the first time, the JAC basketball league included girls teams across three age ranges including 6U, 8U, and 10U -- a telling sign for what’s to come -- more girls teams to compliment our vibrant boys leagues.
